Nothing you do for the LORD is ever useless.

1 Corinthians 15:58 states that, “my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not vain in the LORD.”

As some may argue that the above verse was directed by Paul to the Corinths, I am a firm believer that it still applies to all believers today.

In fact, with all the negativity, doubt, ridicule, shame against ministry, the called needs to be reminded that working for the LORD is of so much value.

May this whole message be a refreshing reminder that no matter how hard or seemingly meaningless our work appears, it is meaningful to GOD because it brings HIM glory, therefore; it is not vain.

As I was inspired to write this message, I was reminded by the once so demeaning  words from some close and not so close people who have questioned my love for the things of GOD, ‘ which doesn’t benefit me in any tangible way’, meaning money-wise.

I’ve been told so many times that I should focus and invest in things that will bring me more money. I’ve been told not to waste my potential, focusing on things that don’t have much benefit.

I would be lying if I can say that I’ve never been discouraged by such words. What I am proud of is that, they’ve never stopped me from doing what the LORD is pleased with.

It is so important to read the word, to know thyself and understand others in order to handle everything accordingly.

Most of the negativity towards GOD and HIS work pushes me to be more diligent, active and fruitful in the service of the LORD.

Knowing and understanding some truths about the Kingdom of light and darkness can save you from overreacting, being defensive, and just a whole lot more.

Who hates the salvation of souls as satan? Who has blinded many from seeing the truth? Who has a different agenda than GOD’s?

When you can answer such questions, it’s easy to know what to listen, react to and what not to.

We’re called to an abundance of good works like pouring love, kindness, comfort, and faithfulness in all areas of life. May we remain dedicated, persevere and committed in the Christian journey.

Colosians 3:23-24 says, whatever you do , whatever kind of work you are doing, work heartily, with all your heart and all the different ways that plays out in scripture, with CHRIST-like character, with honesty, with diligence, with integrity, with humility. So work heartily as for the LORD and not for men.

This Bible verse is clear but those who lacks understanding will always speak & think otherwise.

Working, serving the LORD doesn’t always mean that we’ll obtain money from that, it’s always an act of service. It’s the love for CHRIST and the love of souls that drives many to share the gospel. It’s up to GOD to reward us in any way as it pleases HIM when we serve.

When we do the work, may greed stay afar from us which has led many astray.

It is important for everyone to have a source of income as the LORD wills and provide, but obsessing about money and abandoning the most important work, soul winning, or I’d say ministry as called and placed by GOD shouldn’t happen.

The accolades, titles, riches which are not bad but shouldn’t determines anyone’s purpose on earth aren’t vain. So why should the most important, highest calling on earth be vain or seen as vain??

Servant, child of GOD keep on sowing, sharing, doing, loving, teaching and doing what the LORD has called you to do, for it is not vain before HIS sight.

GOD bless.πŸ™‚πŸ™β€οΈ
